Mini Cooper Soap Box:
How a Certifed-Pre-Owned Mini Cooper debacle brought out the activist in me.
When I started the site my goals were simple:
-
publicize the "true cost" of owning a Mini Cooper, +/- $38,000;
-
have the Nick Alexander Mini/BMW Dealership and/or Mini Cooper International examine their choice to sell an inferior product, a 2004 Mini Cooper S with warranties; and,
-
get resolution or a remedy to my car situation.
In the process of building the site, I realized that I could give more than a cautionary tale about Mini Coopers and that I could provide a quick-reference for prospective Mini car buyers.
The mission is simple give car buyers the tools and insights they need to make an informed decision on their Mini Cooper purchase.
Know before you buy.
About Values:
"Notice me"
If the new web has a mantra, that's it.
So much time and effort is now put into finding followers, accumulating comments and generating controversy... all so that people will notice you. People say and do things that don't benefit them, just because they're hooked on attention.
Attention is fine, as long as you have a goal that is reached in exchange for all this effort.
Far better than being noticed:

* Discussed
* Echoed
* Teaching
* Learning
* Leading
